Wha Gwan?

Wha Gwan means “what’s going on” in Jamaican Patois, a widely used terminology used across all cultures and demographics that builds bonds between one another.

Wha Gwan is a rum-based tonic drink founded by David Mills who is of Jamaican descent.

Launched in summer 2021. Wha Gwan has had remarkable success since its debut with the 200ml Melon Cherry flavour.

Wha Gwan is a 17.2% ABV ready-to-drink Rum Tonic, the flagship flavour profile is melon cherry with two additional new flavours which will complete the colour of Red, Yellow & Green to fit in with the brand colours.

The ethos of the brand is described as “fully loaded with good vybz and strength”.

Since the release the beverage has sold nationally across the UK within established wholesalers, cash & carry.

“I spent over a year coming up with the perfect drink brand and flavour profile. I went through so many obstacles to get to the final product. The road to success is never easy and the proof is in the pudding. I’ve always wanted to give back to the community and I found a way to do so.

Our motivation is based around spreading good vybz, energy while promoting fun, living free within oneself and having happiness leading the way.”
